Welcome back Melanie LAng, VMD!

Dr. Lang's role will help ensure that Red Bank Veterinary Hospital Mount Laurel continues to offer the best in advanced veterinary specialty and emergency medicine. She will be reviewing, managing, and optimizing current systems, quality care standards, and staying abreast of the latest veterinary advancements. She will also oversee the medical direction, lead our doctors and be a point of contact for the referring community. Her years of experience in veterinary emergency and as a former Red Bank Veterinary Hospital staff member make her a perfect fit to support our future growth.

More about Dr. Lang

Dr. Lang, a Pittsburgh native, had a career in management with Verizon Wireless prior to pursuing her dream of veterinary school. She received her VMD (Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine) from the University of Pennsylvania, then completed a rotating internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospitals in Tinton Falls before joining the ER team here in Mount Laurel. She enjoys the fast-paced, unpredictable nature of emergency medicine, and approaches complicated cases as though they’re interesting problems to be solved. Most importantly, she loves being able to find creative solutions that meet the needs of both the pet and the client!

She currently lives in Philadelphia with her immortal cat, Dr. Butterfat, and in her free time enjoys hiking, travel, sports, the gym, and drinking entirely too much good coffee.
